TELLING THE TRUTH

CONCEPTUAL POSTER CAMPAIGN, THE SECOND IN A SERIES OF THREE
INSTALLED IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS ON SMITH COLLEGE CAMPUS, FEBRUARY 20-27, 2022

A piece about memory, hindsight, and the way we communicate our experiences to others. The act of telling a story is a responsibility, and what we consider to be the truth is dependent on too many factors to ever be certain. This was the second in a series of three postering campaigns completed at Smith and was completed thanks to the support of the Kahn Liberal Arts Institute.

Over the course of one week, 1,000 posters were installed anonymously in various locations by myself and a team of collaborators, increasing in number each night. Public response was visible online and on social media, and the project culminated in an article/interview in which I claimed the work (written by Mo Schweiger, published in the Sophian on March 17, 2022).
